All About Ellen
In short, I'm a bright and resourceful individual with an insatiable curiosity about how the world works. From a young age, I've thought about how we can make the world better, which has led me to explore the intersection of technology, society, and culture.
I've spent the last few years working in aviation technology, particularly in the Modern Airline Retailing space, as the industry shifts from tickets to orders. Now I'm looking for a role where I can keep collaborating with others to explore and create impactful products and experiences.
Originally from Sydney, I'm now based in London, enjoying all that it has to offer, from the grey weather, the lovely markets and soaking up the mix of cultures that make London what it is.
In my spare time, I stay active by playing basketball, watching way too much sport, and like everyone else, getting lost in film and tv. I'm also working on notacasualfan.com, and you can explore my thoughts where I write about life and my wide range of interests.

- My day always starts with a cup of coffee ☕. Being a barista was one of my favourite jobs ever!
- My favourite books 📘 are Sundowners by Lesley Lokko, All Our Shimmering Skies by Trent Dalton and Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan.
- I have climbed an active Volcano Concepción 🌋 in Nicaragua and hiked up Haiku Stairs ⛰️ in Hawaii.
- The footy team 🏉 I support is Parramatta Eels. If they have taught me anything — unconditional love is painful, and not for the faint-hearted.
- I am a proud deaf 👂 person. I wear a hearing aid in my left ear and a cochlear implant in my right ear. If you're ever curious and afraid to ask, don't be — I welcome any questions about my experience.
